One thought on “Top Ten Wrong Assumptions about Personality Disorders

Whether or not someone is able to be diagnosed with a personality disorder means little in my opinion, all you have to do is be aware of the cluster B traits and if you see more than a couple, run for the hills. These are the “difficult” people that we run into from time to time that live chaotic lives. I’d distill the traits down to: 1/Being self absorbed, 2/Being a perpetual victim (always blaming others) 3./Showing no empathy, 4/Is super easily offended, 5/always ready to put other people down, 6/Only has people in their life that can stroke their ego and provide narcissistic supply, people who are too “real” have no place in their life. If you see these traits in a person, don’t worry if they would qualify for any diagnoses, just have nothing to do with them.
