    It would seem the focus here is on David Irving. What about the defendant, Deborah Lipstadt (the libeler)?

    She, I think, may be adjudged perfectly rational. After all, she was hired by the Dorot Foundation (you can see this in her academic title) to flog the Israeli/Zionist line.

    So, Irving is the sicko here, right? Well, no. In times unknown to the reviewer, Irving attained much popular following for his books on the World War II bombing of Dresden, a city at the time filled with thousands of desperate refugees, among other things. Then, he ran afoul of the Zionists. That was his undoing.

    They (Lipstadt) said he was a “Holocaust denier.” He was not, and felt that her saying so damaged him.

    Judge Gray ruled otherwise. How about THAT?

      You must have missed the opening paragraph where i clearly state that this article is about the movie and not the real life characters it portrays.
